Gregory needs some major help with his Eagle Project! The City of Mesa is sponsoring his project to put in a new yard for an elderly widow. He needs lots of help to get this done in a hurry! He must have everything finished by Saturday, Jan. 3rd. If you can help or can at least drag down some friends, neighbors and/or family, plan on meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wed., Dec. 31st. We will also be working on Friday & Saturday as well. I don’t have the address at the moment (will post later), but the home is just a few minutes north of the McDowells’. (Country Club & 1st Ave. roughly?) Call the McDowells for more info.
P.S. Monetary donations for materials (or just materials) are welcome! (PayPal available – send to Sally McDowell’s att.net address.)
I’m hoping that by the end of March I’ll have the new Haymore website up – www.haymoreheritage.org. I probably won’t have absolutely everything ready by then, but I think the basics should be ready to go. Below are some items I hope to include. Please feel free to suggest other items!
Once again – suggestions are welcome!
Timothy and Kristy welcomed baby number three to their family! Blake Ash McDowell was born Thursday, 10/9/08. He weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21-3/4″ long. I’ll bet that made Daddy proud! Mom Kristy is doing well. Trent is a seasoned big brother and Kelsey gets to join the ranks as big sister!
Don’t forget to check the gallery for pictures Timothy uploaded. Timothy’s album is under the “User Albums” on the main gallery page.
Blake will be blessed on November 9, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at the church building on Ocotillo a couple of miles east of Ironwood in Queen Creek.
It was so fun to finally see Casey yesterday! What a handsome RM! I’ll have to get some pics of our family mob at the airport posted in the gallery soon (McD Fam – you can post yours too, don’t forget!)
After Casey was formally released as a full-time missionary, we (Casey and the whole family) all headed off to Cafe Rio! I was really looking forward to having some “Rio”, but as we stood in line to place our orders, Camby all of a sudden, well, let’s just say it was very obvious to the world he was sick. Poor kid! Poor mop girl! Of course the Neus Family had to make a swift exit soon thereafter. So I wish I could say how the rest of the evening went, but… I wasn’t there.
)
Anyhow, Camby is home from school today. He keeps asking if we can call his teacher, Mrs. King, to let her know how sick he is. I assured him she’d get the message I left with the attendance office – as well as the e-mail I promised I’d send her.
